How to slim down a size for your wedding

If you are trying to slim down for your wedding there are steps that you can take to ensure that you are able to reach your goals. Eating less and exercising are the key points to any trim down program. There are three aspects that you will want to make sure are in your schedule and that you do daily so that you can slim down for your wedding.

Water

Drinking lots of water to keep your body hydrated is very critical. You can break the amounts down into a more manageable amount. For example: keep a water bottle beside your bed and before you go to sleep drink ½ the bottle. You may have to get up in the middle of the night if you do this. Drink the other half as soon as you wake up in the morning. Then before each meal drink a half of the bottle. Sip on water throughout the day as well.

Walking

Another thing you can do is to go for a walk everyday. Start with a 10-minute walk and you can always increase the amount of time when your schedule allows it. This will boost your metabolism and keep you active.

Eat Healthy 

The other is to eat 6 meals a day. You might be saying I can’t eat 6 meals per day, but it is much easier than it sounds. If you plan on eating once every 3-4 hours while your are awake (you will not be eating full course meals each time), you will not only help to stabilize energy in your body, but will help your digestive system be more efficient.

Limiting the portion size of your meal is the key. Eat portion should not be any larger than the palm of your hand. Be sure to include proteins, carbohydrates, and fruits and vegetables in your meal plan. There is no need to try and put all of the items above in one meal. You are going spread out throughout the day the amounts that you should be eating.

Remember that 65% of your calories each day should come from carbohydrates. This may cause you to have to read labels more, but that is ok. The more you know about what you are eating the better off you will be.

A sample meal may include the following: Protein shake with 1% milk, or ½ an apple and cottage cheese or yogurt. Maybe choices like Piece of chicken (no skin) with a small salad or piece of lean meat with rice or potatoes and vegetables.
