Normally the speech will start with welcoming the groom’s parents, relatives of both families and other guests alike. Then he will go on to say a few words about his daughter and continue from there.
Bridegroom
The bridegroom speaks on behalf of himself and his new bride, thanking his parents for their love and support over the years, and for good wishes in the future. He will also thank everyone for their gifts and mention any persons that are close to the family who could not make it to the ceremony. Bridegroom will then propose a toast of the brides maids, and thank them for a job well done, and present them with a small gift as a token of their appreciation.
Best Man
One of the best mans duties are to respond to the toast of the bridegroom on behalf of the bridesmaids. His speech being light hearted, fun, and should be the highlight of the reception. This is the last of the three speeches so make it good.
